Traveling on Dream Jan 2018, want to get my kids Disney luggage for Christmas to take on the cruise. Which is better to store on the boat soft or hard luggage? Thanks

    Welcome aboard, Kellie!

Oh, I love the adorable Disney luggage that is out there now! I just returned from a magical sailing on the Disney Wonder and even saw the cutest Disney Cruise Line luggage in the gift shops onboard! We have a great luggage set, so I just can't justify getting new ones, but if you're looking to get your kids new suitcases, go for those Disney ones for sure!

Most of the Disney luggage I've seen has been hard sided cases. That's perfectly fine! All of our luggage is hard sided, and we've had no problem storing it under the bed in our stateroom each time we sail. In fact, we put our smaller suitcases inside the larger ones and then just roll one or two large suitcases under the bed, and we're all set. So, just find the luggage you like best, and pick that, whether it's hard or soft cases. Either will be great! Be sure to check out shopdisney.com for a huge selection of cute Disney luggage. My daughter especially loves the emoji Disney character bags!

    Have fun planning, Kellie!
