Hi! We will be traveling down to WDW the first week of November 2013. It is our family vacation and also our 9 year anniversary! I was wondering what there is special to do for our anniversary. We are eating at the 1900 Parke Faire dinner that evening.

Hi, Andrea! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and early congratulations on celebrating your 9th anniversary!

I have several suggestions for special ways to celebrate your anniversary. First off, while 1900 Park Fare is a wonderful character dining experience, the location can be quite boisterous and is far from intimate. I would suggest making an upscale dinner reservation on another evening during your stay. I highly recommend Victoria & Albert's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - it represents the pinnacle of gourmet dining and is considered to be one of the finest restaurants in Central Florida. California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort is another great choice - it boasts a unique location at the top of the resort hotel and, with a well timed reservation, you can enjoy Wishes (Magic Kingdom Park's fireworks spectacular) from the hotel roof's vantage point. If your children are between 3 and 12 years of age, they can spend a fun evening at one of the specially themed Children's Activity Centers while you enjoy some fine dining - just the two of you.

You'll be visiting during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, so why not spend an entire evening sampling the delicious small plates and specialty beverages and desserts offered at the Marketplace kiosks around World Showcase? Then consider taking a romantic Fireworks Cruise to enjoy IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth from aboard your boat on the lagoon.

Other ways to celebrate could include indulging in a couples massage at a Disney Spa, taking in Cirque du Soleil's La Nouba in Downtown Disney and experiencing Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom.

Please don't hesitate to write me back if you'd like more details on any of these suggestions. I'd be happy to help you create a magical anniversary celebration!
