We are traveling to Disneyworld for a work conference. We are a party of 5 with 2 adults and 3 children aged 14,11,3. Are we able to stay in the rooms that accommodate an occupancy of 4? The site said 3 and under don't count towards occupancy.

    Hey there, Samuel!

I'm so happy to welcome you to planDisney! Attending a conference at Walt Disney World is already a fantastic experience, but when you have the opportunity to bring your family along and turn the trip into a magical vacation, it truly becomes something special. It's the perfect way to balance work and play!

Most Disney Resorts allow for one child under the age of 3 to stay in the room in addition to the maximum stated occupancy. However, since your child is 3 years old, they will be included in the total guest count when booking your accommodations.

The good news is that you do have several options! There are Disney Resorts that can comfortably accommodate families of five or more. These include select rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and All-Star Music Resort, and a wide variety of options at Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villa Resorts, many of which offer spacious accommodations like 1-Bedroom Villas with full kitchens and separate sleeping areas.

Samuel, you'll be visiting during one of the most festive times of the year — Walt Disney World's (not-so) spooky season and the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival! Enjoy fall decor, tasty treats, and maybe even Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, all while sampling flavors from around the world at EPCOT!

I hope this information has been helpful. If you have any other questions, please reach out to us again...we're always happy to help!
