Traveling to disneys Polynesian with 18!year old son with autism ,should we stay at villas, how far away from pool, or main resort?? Also any disability pass or help ?

    Hi Nancy,

Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The spirit of the South Pacific is alive and beautiful at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.  The convenience to access Magic Kingdom Park with a quick zip on the monorail or cruise aboard a motor launch on Seven Seas Lagoon means that this is one location that keeps Guests returning year after year. Also, two words: Tonga Toast.

The Deluxe Studio Villas at Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows are located in the Moorea, Pago Pago and Tokelau Longhouses. You can find the Bora Bora Bungalows just beyond Moorea in the shallow waters of stunning Seven Seas Lagoon. So while the location of the Disney Vacation Club Villas is a bit of a stroll from the Great Ceremonial House, you will find that they are actually very close to the Transportation and Ticket Center. This makes it incredibly convenient to jump on the Express Monorail to Magic Kingdom Park and also to ride the highway in the sky to Epcot without the need to make a transfer! I think that really sets Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows apart from all other Disney Vacation Club Resorts.

When you reach the theme parks for the first time, simply visit the convenient Guest Relations area. Be prepared to explain what type of accommodations would make your experience more enjoyable and the Cast Member will assign a Disability Access Service Card onto your son's MagicBand. There is great information here on the Fact Sheet to get you started.

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
