Hi, we will be traveling to Disney World in September 08. I have a 3 yr old and my new son will be 8 months old. I am currently primarily pumping milk for him. Where are the best places to get where I can relax and feed or pump and maybe a plug for pump?

    Kasey,

Florida state law is very protective of breastfeeding mothers, which helps to make Disney a very easy vacation spot for parents of infants.

In each of the parks you'll find a Baby Care Center (check map for the locations) that is perfect for your needs.  They'll offer up rocking chairs, high chairs, child-sized potties, changing tables, and other baby essentials.  This is the perfect spot to plug in your pump as well.

Because there is only one in each park I didn't always find it convenient to use for feedings, so I found lots of private spots to feed my daughters wherever we were.  I'm comfortable with discreetly feeding a baby in public so this worked well for us.  A few of my favorites:

Magic Kingdom - Carousel of Progress, Mickey's PhilharMagic, It's A Small World, Haunted Mansion, Hall of Presidents, Pirates of the Caribbean

Epcot - Spaceship Earth, Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, Living With the Land, Gran Fiesta Tour, any of the movies in the countries' pavilions

Hollywood Studios - The Great Movie Ride, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Muppet Vision 3D

Animal Kingdom - It's Tough to be a Bug

Animal Kingdom had the fewest dark quiet rides and shows for me to use, but it does offer lots of semi-secluded paths and benches so definitely make use of those.  You'll see many other moms doing just the same thing.

Hope that helps, and have a wonderful vacation!
