Hi we will be traveling to Disney world next and doing the drink around the world at epcot. My daughter lost her id but she has a paper copy and also a picture of her real id on her phone. Will she be OK with both of those?

    Hiya, Detessa!

I'm so happy to welcome you to planDisney! How exciting that you'll be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth with your daughter! I'm sure you'll make so many unforgettable memories together during your visit.

Walt Disney World Resort accepts several forms of identification if you plan to purchase an alcoholic beverage during your visit. Guests must be at least 21 years old, and you'll need to present a valid, accepted form of ID when ordering.

Accepted forms of identification include a U.S. driver's license or state-issued ID (including U.S. territories), a U.S. military ID, an original passport, or a copy of your passport (either printed or on your mobile device) when it's accompanied by a government-issued photo ID that matches the information on the passport copy. Canadian Guests may also use a NEXUS card issued by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. If you're visiting from outside the United States, you'll need to bring both your valid passport and another government-issued photo ID from your home country.

One important thing to keep in mind is that temporary paper IDs and photos of your driver's license on your phone generally aren't accepted. If you have any questions about what identification will work for your specific situation, I'd recommend calling Walt Disney World Resort at (407) 939-5277 before your trip so you can travel with confidence.

If, for some reason, your daughter isn't able to get one of the accepted forms of identification before your trip, many of the specialty cocktails served throughout Walt Disney World can also be made as delicious alcohol-free mocktails. They're just as fun and full of flavor, so she can still enjoy a special vacation beverage alongside you.

Detessa, I hope you have the very best trip. Thank you so much for visiting us at planDisney!

    See ya real soon,

    Kami
