Hi Mary Beth! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up so soon!
My youngest son was 4 months old when he made his first visit to Walt Disney World. The great news is, babies that age are quite portable, and in my opinion Disney Parks are one of the easiest places to vacation with an infant.
You'll find there are many attractions that are available for infants to ride as lap children. I have filtered
this list of attractions by "Any Height". Of course, use your own judgement for which attractions you feel are most suitable for your infant.
I recommend bringing your own stroller, as the strollers available to rent in the parks are not padded and do not recline for napping. Also, bring a rain cover or throw a rain poncho over your stroller while it is parked in the event of a sudden Florida rain shower. I also recommend a light blanket to drape over the stroller canopy for additional shade from the sun. If you'd rather not bring your own stroller, there are many rental companies in the Orlando area that will deliver a stroller to your hotel, including several
Disney Featured Providers.
Definitely make use of the
Baby Care Centers in the Theme Parks! These wonderful facilities are a life-saver for parents and babies, providing a quiet air-conditioned space for feeding and changing, as well as a small shop with baby essentials available for purchase.
Don't forget to get
baby's first Mickey Ears! You'll find baby-sized Ear Hats that can be embroidered with baby's name at
The Chapeau in Magic Kingdom Park.
