We will be traveling to Disney World in July of 09 and was wondering if the Grand Floridian still does the Cinderella and the Stepsisters dinner? If not what would be another good character dinner for my two granddaughters ages 7 and 5.

While character meals are subject to change, yes, there is currently a dinner at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian which features many of the characters from Cinderella. These include Cindy herself, Prince Charming, the stepmother, and the step sisters. The "steps" are a real hoot, always trying to poke some fun at poor Cinderella :-) This meal is a great choice for elementary age girls.

However, if you're looking for a change, just about all the character meals would be fine for them. Some nice choices might be Chef Mickey's (which features Mickey and his pals), Crystal Palace (with Pooh and friends) or the Garden Grill (with Mickey, Chip, and Dale). Or if you want a different princess meal, you could try the Akershus at Epcot. The Storybook meals there feature appearances by rotating list of Disney princesses and leading ladies which may include Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Belle, and others.

To make reservations for any of these meals, call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE.
