    Hi! We are traveling to Disney World in January and staying at the Polynesian. We have Chef Mickey reservations at 7:25 am. I have heard that the monorails do not open until 30 minutes prior to parks opening. How do you suggest we get to the Contemporary

    Hi, Morgan! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question. I am actually coming to you from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, where we hopped aboard the Resort Monorail yesterday morning for an early ride to Magic Kingdom Park. I think this monorail line will be just the ticket for your breakfast trip.

    The monorail hours do frequently change, so you may want to check with your Resort concierge upon check-in. Currently, the Resort Monorail line starts running at 7 o'clock. I have seen it start running as early as 6:30 a.m. You should have no problem using this form of Disney transportation to reach your breakfast with Mickey and his friends.
