Hi! I am traveling to Disney World with a group over spring break. This group has my tickets and park passes, meaning I do not have access to them, nor are they linked to my disney account. Is there a way to manually add these plans to the My Disney App?

Hi there, Matthew! Welcome to planDisney!

In my opinion, the only thing better than visiting Walt Disney World Resort is visiting with a group of people you care about! Here's a little secret: magic multiplies when it's shared and your trip is sure to be an extra special one. Not only that, but springtime just so happens to be my favorite time to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth! The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be blooming just in time for your visit, too. Be sure to sample the outdoor kitchens and keep an eye out for the character topiaries - Kermit is my favorite!

Matthew, it sounds like a Guest in your group has created an account for your whole travel party, including tickets and Theme Park Reservations. I think the best next step would be for this Guest to share planning with you so you can co-manage these reservations! This will make planning together so much easier, plus the My Disney Experience app will allow you to unlock everything that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer.

First, you'll want to contact the Guest who made the travel plans for your group. That Guest can log into their account online, hover their mouse over the My Disney Experience tab, and click My Family & Friends. They should see the names of the other Guests that they're traveling with and should also see your name with the words "Plans managed by me" next to it. They can click "Update" next to your name, then "Share Planning with..." All they'll need to do is enter your email address, you'll accept the invitation on your end, and you should be able to see all of the plans that are associated with your account!

If you have any problems with sharing plans, the Guest who made the reservations can call a Cast Member. Pro tip: make sure they have the email address listed with your My Disney Experience account handy! A Cast Member will be happy to help arrange your plans in a way where you can see them on your end, too. If your friend decides to call a Cast Member, I'd recommend calling right when phone lines open at 7:00 AM EST.

Once you've accepted the invitation and can co-manage your plans, you'll be able to see this listed in your My Disney Experience app! Just tap the icon that looks like three stacked lines in the bottom right corner and tap My Future Plans. Scroll down and take a look at all the magic that's waiting for you! Matthew, you will absolutely want to use this app while you're on vacation, too. A little like holding a magic wand in your hand, you'll be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even mobile order food. This is a great way to minimize waits and maximize fun!

If you have any other questions, please fly your magic carpet our way again!

    See ya real soon!
