Hello, I am traveling to Disney World for the first time with my family in February 2011. We have park tickets without the hopper option. Do you have to make dinner reservations within the park that you are attending for that day?

Hi, Joanne! Congratulations on your first trip with your family! Yes, you will need to make your dining reservations in the park that you have chosen to attend that day.  You will not be able to enter a different park without the Park Hopper option, even with an Advance Dining Reservation

Another great option for your travel party is to make reservations at any of the wonderful Walt Disney World Resort Hotel restaurants.  Since those do not require theme park admission, you can visit those whenever you like.  You will be able to leave the theme park and return to the same one later that day; you just aren't able to switch parks without the Park Hopper. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
