We will be traveling to Disney World Dec. 17-22 is this a time when the parks get to full capacity? We are wanting to make dining reservation at one park for dinner but spend a day at another park. If we cannot get in will we be charged are dinning plan?

    HI Christine!

I think you've picked a great time to visit Walt Disney World! Its one of my favorite times! The parks and resorts are decorated beautifully for the holidays, but the peak holiday crowds have not yet arrived.

Typically, park attendance will increase as the holidays draw near, but the peak times are during the week between Christmas and New Years. It would be unusual for the parks to reach capacity during the weeks before Christmas.

If a park does close for capacity reasons, you will not be charged a dining credit unless its a restaurant that requires a credit card hold. If you are planning a dinner at a place like Cinderella's Royal Table that does enforce a cancellation/no-show policy, you'll want to be sure that the parks will not close to capacity that day or plan to be in the specific park during that day.

Hope this helps! Have a great holiday trip!
