Ahoy, Maria!
The final countdown is on for your crew! How excited you must be to cast off on an incredible
Alaskan adventure on the magnificent Disney Wonder next week! I'm sure
packing is on the top of your "to do" list so I'm glad you sent in your question.
Disney Cruise Line allows each Guest two suitcases and two carry-on bags. Carry-on bags are required to pass through the x-ray machines, so they should not exceed 22"H x 14"L x 9"D. There are no set checked luggage size limits, but your luggage will need be stored in your stateroom so you'll want to keep that in mind as you pack. The queen beds are raised so I've found that they do provide ample storage underneath.
Maria, you should have received luggage tags with your cruise information printed on them in the mail. You'll want to place these on your checked luggage before you hand it over to the porters at the cruise terminal. Your carry-on bags will not need to be tagged so each member of your party should have two labeled with their name. If you did not receive your tags, please ask the porters for some blank ones to fill out. You'll need to know your stateroom number so your bags will end up outside the correct room!
Good luck with your final preparations! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Don't forget that layers are the key to comfort in Alaska and your outer layer should always be waterproof (shoes too!). You always want to be prepared for the unpredictable Alaskan weather!
Have a "WONDER"ful time!
Nancy
