I am traveling to Disney the week of Thanksgiving with my husband and 6 yo daughter. I am on the fence about the Very Merry Christmas event....is is worth the money? I am thinking my daughter may not be able to stay up past 9:00 or will be very tired.

Hi, Yvonne!  I think it is well worth it if your daughter could stay up for the whole party.  The holiday events, shorter lines, and festive mood are all wonderful to enjoy.  There is a Christmas parade, visits with Santa, fireworks, cookies and cocoa - all the holiday frills.  But unless you have a little one that can hang in there, you might miss a lot of the excitement.

If you think you could take the day off from a park, maybe hang out at the pool or do some souvenir shopping and lunch, it might help to take a long afternoon nap and then head over to the party.  That usually worked with my daughters, but I had at least one who was - and still is - a night owl anyway!

Have a great time on your upcoming visit!
