Ahoy there, mama! Thanks for sailing by planDisney.
You are in for a treat with your upcoming vacation. The
Treasure is such a gorgeous ship, filled with magical details. One of my fellow panelists is sailing right now, and says that you need at least 30 minutes inside the Haunted Mansion Parlor to find all the hauntingly cool details.
We took our daughter on a cruise when she was 8 months old, so I empathize with you. Trying to figure out how to keep babe safe and entertained takes a lot of planning! I am glad you already know about the
nursery; it is delightful and has plenty of room for your son to explore safely. You can also take him to the Oceaneer's Club during Open House hours so that he has more floor space to run around.
The splash pad is one of our favorite places on the ship for littles. My kids were so disappointed when they aged out of the water zone. I'd also take advantage of the
Hero Zone - a supersized sports zone with plenty of room on the sidelines and up in the balcony viewing zone for your little guy to run around. He might also enjoy Jack-Jack's Incredible Diaper Dash, where he can show off his speed-crawling skills!
Kim, when you arrive on board, talk to your stateroom attendant, and they will happily arrange to have a
diaper pail in your room. They can also arrange for a playpen, and Guest Services has strollers available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you forget anything, the shops on board have baby essentials, and your dining room staff will happily assist you with toddler-friendly meals.
I wish you a magical sailing. Feel free to float back by with any other questions.
