    Hello, we are traveling to Disney this summer and our flight lands at 11am Check in at the resort isn't til 3, is there a way to get an early check in? So we enjoy the resort pool!

    Hi Samantha!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We are thrilled to know you are finding our vacation advice helpful when planning your upcoming Walt Disney World adventure.   

    My family loves to take the earliest flight possible when we travel to Walt Disney World.  We just can't wait to experience all the magic. We often arrive well before check-in time.   When we arrive I always check-in at the Resort and hope that a room is available for us and about 50% of the time one is.   If you complete online check-in it will ask you what time you plan on arriving at your Disney Resort hotel and if early check- in is a priority.  This may up the chance that your room is ready upon arrival, but please note there are no guarantees especially during busy times of the year when the Resorts are often filled to capacity.     

    If your room is not ready you can store your luggage with Bell Services and enjoy the pool or any other recreational activity you choose.    I often pack a carry-on with swimsuits, sunscreen and a change of clothes just in case our room is not available.  It's really easy to tote a small bag with us to the pool. Cast Members can even text you your room number once it is ready  and you can head straight from enjoying to the pool to your well-appointed Guest Room.
