We are traveling to Disney with several different families. We would all like to do a couple of dining reservations together. Is there a limit as to how many people can be booked on one reservation?

    Welcome to planDisney, Elizabeth!

It sounds as if you have quite the adventure coming up! A big part of planning with a group is deciding where to eat! And there is no shortage of amazing options at Walt Disney World Resort. I have traveled with large parties a few times, and most dining locations can accommodate reservations for up to ten people.

There are a few locations like Trattoria al Forno, eet by Maneet Chauhan, and Biergarten Restaurant that can accommodate as many as 15 people! I also want to mention that large reservations can be booked through the My Disney Experience app, while the Walt Disney World website will only accommodate up to ten people per reservation. If your must-try spots don't have large group reservations available, you can also book two tables and request to be seated near each other. You will need to have two separate Guests in your party book tables, as you can only hold one dining reservation at a time. It is also important to note that while Cast Members will do their best to accommodate this, keeping your parties close together is not a guarantee.

The best way to book those large group reservations is to mark your calendar for the opening of your dining booking window! You can book dining reservations 60 days in advance. And if you are a Guest of a Disney Resort hotel, you can book for your length of stay (up to ten days). Set your alarm, because bookings open at 6 AM ET. Availability for large groups can fill up fast, so be sure to book early!

I hope your upcoming trip is magical!
