I need to make a dining reservations for a large party. What phone number do I call to coordinate these reservations?

Welcome to planDisney, Tiffany! It sounds like you might be within your 60-day booking window for Walt Disney World Resort dining experiences, and you're coming with a large group. I think visiting the theme parks with a big party is just that: a PARTY! As much fun as your trip will be, planning for a posse can present a few challenges, so let's talk strategies.

Please feel free to call the dining line for assistance at (407) 939-3463. They can help book large groups and will answer any questions you might have about specific restaurants. Be sure to have your Disney Resort hotel reservation number handy when you call.

Another option for booking a large group is to make more than one dining reservation. The trick is that you'll need to recruit other guests to help since the system only allows each guest to hold one reservation per meal period. Try to book all the reservations around the same time, and when you check in at the location, let the hosts know that your parties would like to be seated together. While there's no guarantee, the staff will try their best to accommodate you.

When I visit with large groups, we enjoy eating at Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen at Magic Kingdom Park. This tropical-themed restaurant is divided into different rooms, so my group once sat in the top-secret S.E.A. Room. We had a blast! My tip is to ask for the Brazilian Cheese Bread. Even though it may not be on the menu, the chef might just whip up a batch if you ask nicely. You'll thank me later!

Tiffany, I'm sending a shower of pixie dust so that you secure fabulous dining for your group. Please stop by planDisney anytime; we love a party!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
