We will be traveling to Disney in Nov and were thinking of going to SOAS. We have 7 in our party (3 adults, 8yr old, twin 2 (almost 3) yr olds, and 8 mnth old). My question is will we have to pay out of pocket 4 the twins bc they are not on our dining plan

    Hi Richard,

I too have twins! We had several great Walt Disney World trips with them when they were two years old.

The Disney Dining Plan is not available for guests under the age of three. So neither your twins nor your baby will be on your Dining Plan. Disney allows children under the age of three to "eat from an adult's plate" at no charge. Many of the quick service meals at WDW are large enough to share with a child. But if you would like your younger children to have their own meals at quick service restaurants, then yes, you will need to pay for them out of pocket.

Table service restaurants that are menu-based work the same way. You can share your food with them, or you can pay for the kids' meals separately.

At the buffet and family style table service meals, children under the age of three basically eat free. You do not have to physically share your plate with them. Feel free to get them their own plate of food and enjoy!

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
