We will be traveling to Disney in May 2015 during the flower and garden festival. We are first timers to Disney and not sure we this requires an additional ticket. Furthermore is this a festival my 4 & 5 year old will want to do?

Hi, Melissa! Great news! The International Flower and Garden Festival does not require an additional ticket.  It is part of your regular admission to Epcot. The festival is seamlessly incorporated into Epcot, so that it doesn't feel like "something extra to do." It's just part of the overall Epcot experience during that time frame. Your children will, no doubt, enjoy seeing the topiaries, and often there are special activity spaces for kids (the 2015 festival description has not been released yet).  Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements regarding next year's festival activities.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
