We are traveling to Disney March 7- 14th. We had seen the Epcot Flower and Garden Show in April 2008. I was wondering will any of the exhibits or topiary will you see before hand or do they put it all up at once.

    Hi Kristina,

I love Epcot's Annual Flower and Garden Show and can understand your desire to check it out before you have to leave. The event officially starts March 18, 2009 and runs thru May 31, 2009. There is a great deal of preparation and set up that goes into this event and often Disney's busy bees can be seen hard at work prior to the actual first day. There is no official answer that I can find regarding what may be open, but it is my thought that you will be able to see and enjoy a portion of the topiaries and attractions before you leave as I know we have been there in years past and seen some of the arrangements early.

The actual festival events will most likely not be open and the summer concert series that runs during the festival will not be performing at that time. I have on previous trips been able to visit and shop at a number of the booths outside of the festival dates so hopefully they will be open prior to your deperature. I would definitely keep your last day at WDW open for a stroll through Epcot to enjoy the portions that are ready.

Hope you have a magical trip!
