Hello we will be traveling to disney on march 5 to 12. We have purchased the Disney Dining plan. Is there any plan that will guide us on how to spend our credits in an optimal way? Is there any plan that we can use? thank you very much

Welcome to planDisney, Ronald! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. Since your vacation is right around the corner, it's a great idea to start thinking about how you're going to make the most of your Disney Dining Plan. A bit of advanced planning can really maximize the value! I'm happy to share some tried-and-true strategies to help you get the most out of it.

First, let's talk table-service! A great way to maximize your table-service meals is by booking character dining experiences, which give you both a delicious meal and special character interactions. Some of my top picks are Garden Grill at EPCOT, Tusker House at Animal Kingdom, and 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. Since character dining meals are prix fixe, they typically offer great value for your dining plan compared to paying out of pocket, especially if you choose lunch or dinner seating.

For quick-service meals, aim for locations that offer lots of variety and generous portion sizes to get the best value. Satu'li Canteen at Animal Kingdom is one of my favorites for customizable bowls with protein, grains, and fresh toppings. Regal Eagle Smokehouse at EPCOT has delicious barbecue platters that are definitely big enough to share, and Columbia Harbour House at Magic Kingdom has seafood options like fried shrimp and lobster rolls. I love using my dining plan to try something unique!

Your trip is during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, which means that you'll have tons of amazing food options at festival booths. Many items at the Outdoor Kitchens qualify as snack credits, so instead of grabbing bottled water or packaged snacks, consider using your credits on some festival favorites! Anything that qualifies as a snack is marked on the menu with the purple and white Disney Dining Plan logo to make your meal planning even easier.

I hope this answers your question, Ronald, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical (and delicious!) vacation.
