Ahoy, Carolyn!
A MAGICal adventure awaits your family next week! The cast and crew of the
Disney Magic can't wait to show you firsthand what sets Disney Cruise Line apart from other cruise lines. And it sounds like you are experiencing a multigenerational vacation, which will make this sailing even more special. As a family, you'll enjoy
dining and attending the Broadway-style shows each night and having the opportunity to see first-run movies, swim in the pools and play shuffleboard on Deck 4. The options AND memories to be made are endless!
My family has stayed in almost every category of stateroom, and although we sleep well on every Disney Cruise, our best sleep has always been in the
inside staterooms because they are so dark with no window or verandah door to offer some light. Each stateroom does have its own thermostat, so you can adjust it to a temperature you find comfortable. My husband likes to keep it cold so we always have to bring warm pajamas no matter what time of year.
Any items brought onboard (luggage, car seats, strollers) will need to be stored in your stateroom. The clearance under the queen bed is about a foot and a half, so you can get quite a lot under there. I'm not sure if you are utilizing Disney Cruise Line transportation to the Port of Miami, but if you are, the car seats are not supported on the motor coach so you will have to store them under the bus. Also, car seats are not needed for Port Adventures for the same reason. So once they are stored in your stateroom, you will not need them again until disembarkation.
Carolyn, have the most wonderful time at sea with Disney Cruise Line next week
Bon Voyage!
Nancy
