We're our traveling to disney in late january with our 4 year old and wondering if that time of year has any special deals and if the pools are open.

    Hi Claudia,

January is typically a great time to visit Disney World as it is the value season. This means that the crowds are usually considerably smaller and resort pricing is often lower than other times during the year.

Disney does offer a number of special prices and deals throughout the year, however they often have to be booked at least a few months in advance and all have specific expiration dates. Currently Disney is offering a promotion where you could receive up to three additional nights after purchasing four when staying on property at select resort locations. There are only a few days left to book though and information regarding this offer can be found here.

You will be happy to know that the pools at the Disney resorts are open 365 days of the year, weather permitting. It is cooler during January as the average daily high is 71, however the pools are heated and open to Disney resort guests for your enjoyment.

Hope you all have an amazing time!
