I am traveling to Disney 9/20-9/26 for my honeymoon. We want to go to one of the waterparks but are having a hard time fitting it in our schedule..suggestions? 9/20 MK, 9/21 EP, 9/22 AK, 9/23 HS, 9/24 universal, 9/25 HS/MK (MNSSH), 9/26 EP/home

    Christina,

So the key here is that the water parks are open from 10-5 during the time that you are visiting. So what I would do is split a water park visit with my Animal Kingdom day on the 22nd.

I would go to the Animal Kingdom right away in the morning, when the animals are most active. Stay until around 10-11, focusing on attractions that involve animals, like the walking trails and Kilimanjaro Safaris.

Go from there straight to the water park, enjoy it until late afternoon, and then go back to the Animal Kingdom for dinner and the evening Extra Magic Hours. Plan a nice romantic dinner at the Yak and Yeti, and definitely ride Expedition Everest at night, as the view of the park in the dark is great!

    Have a magical vacation!
