We are traveling on Disney Fantasy in October. We have 11 family members going, one of the family is 18 years old with special needs. Are there activities for him that he can do by himself. We have read that there is not much for 18-20 year olds to do.

    Ahoy James!
Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I'm excited to hear you have a family vacation planned on the newest member of the Disney fleet!  I think you will find plenty for everyone in your crew to enjoy during your seven night sailing!  On the first afternoon, I definitely recommend the Walking Ship Tour which is usually offered at 1:00 and 2:00.  This is a great way to get a feel for the ship before you set sail for the Caribbean!  There is also a tour offered for 18+ called Art of the Theme Show Tour which can be reserved at Guest Services.  I recommend reading the cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator daily because this will be your go-to guide for your entire cruise.
The Buena Vista Theatre which features first-run movies each day is a great place to catch up on the latest flicks.  Trivia, game shows, karaoke, crafts, towel folding, animation, and the Anyone Can Cook series are all fantastic activities for any age!  The Midship Detective Agency is an interactive mystery that sends you from deck to deck using Enchanted Art as your clues.  This can be played several times because there is a different outcome each time.   Bingo is another popular cruise activity which will be offered throughout the week.  Goofy's Sports Deck offers basketball, mini-golf, foosball, ping pong, and sports simulators (for a nominal fee).  Shuffleboard is also fun, but located on Deck Four.  At night, be sure your family heads to the Walt Disney Theatre for the best entertainment on the high seas!
I hope my answer gives you a good idea of what to expect on your October sailing.  The ship is truly a floating destination so I'm sure your crew of 11 will have a fantastical time!
