Ahoy, Karin!
I am so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask your question about your upcoming cruise on the gorgeous Disney Fantasy!
Dining in Remy or
Palo is truly a treat on any Disney Cruise Line vacation. I really don't like to miss any of the nights in the main dining rooms with my family, so I always book a reservation for brunch at Palo. It is the best of both worlds, decadent breakfast food and delicious dinner food, all served together! Brunch is offered at both Remy and Palo on the Disney Fantasy, should you choose to try this option.
Since it is hard to tell which night will be your formal and semi-formal night on your cruise, you do have the option of waiting until you are onboard the ship to make your dinner reservations at either of the adult-exclusive options. Reservations are held back for passengers to book once they arrive for their vacation. Simply visit the Royal Court restaurant around 1pm on your embarkation day and visit the Palo/Remy table to inquire about available dining options.
If those are not for you, you can follow this rule of thumb. Formal night is almost always held on a day at sea, so you would be safe reserving a table at
Remy or Palo on any port night. Also, when you log in to your Disney Cruise Line reservation, you can view the week's activities. Pirate Night will show as a "ship activity", so you know that your formal night is not that night as well. I know a few couples who use Pirate Night as their adult dining night since they do not wish to dress up like pirates.
I hope this helps with your cruise planning! Please visit us again with more questions that arise before you set sail.
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
