Hi Tauni!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My babies’ first trips to Disney were right about the same age as yours, and there was nothing more magical than experiencing the Walt Disney World Resort through their eyes!
You would be surprised at how many
attractions you will be able to enjoy together as a family. Many do not have a height requirement so that the entire family can participate! You can take a cruise through Asia, Africa and more on the Jungle Cruise, or fly high above London on Peter Pan’s Flight. Everybody (baby and adults!) will be humming “it’s a small world after all” when you finish my favorite boat ride of all!
One of my favorite Disney trips was when my daughter was two, and my twins were seven months. We spent every day in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park, where they enjoyed hugs with Pooh, story-time with Belle, and swam like clams on
Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid. Some of my favorite family photos are from this trip, especially one with one of my twins grabbing Pluto’s nose!
When the kiddos needed a break in the Parks, we made sure to stop by the
Baby Care Centers. They are located conveniently in every Theme Park and are a calm, quiet place to have a snack, pick up baby essentials, or change a diaper. Truly one of the best-kept secrets of the Parks!
Tauni, if you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. In the meantime, enjoy your magical vacation with your babe!
