    We will be traveling on the Disney Dream in 1 week. Both me and my husband signed up for the Castaway Cay 5k. Is there any child care for children during this time? I'm not sure how comfortable I am leaving the children on board.

    Can you believe that you are just DAYS away from sailing with Captain Mickey on the Disney Dream?  I cannot wait for you to experience all of the magic included on your high seas adventure!

    I am happy to hear that your magical getaway includes a stop at my favorite Bahamian port, Castaway Cay!  Running the Castaway Cay 5K is a great way to start your day on Disney's private island. 

    As a participant, you will be one of the first guests to debark the ship.  During your walk to the starting line, you will pass by Scuttle's Cove, the island's youth club.  You will be able to stop and check your pirates-in-training in for time with the youth counselors while you get your morning run in!  My kids love playing in the sand and the activities in this club while I love that they are right there on the island with us.

    Be sure to check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for all of the activities taking place in Scuttle's Cove during your day at Castaway Cay, as well as all of the other fun offered on the island.  While your pirates are playing in the island's youth club, take your husband to explore and enjoy some quiet time at the adult exclusive Serenity Bay beach after the 5K!
