Ahoy, Leah!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I know you can't wait to set sail for your Bahamian voyage on the Disney Dream. You'll be enjoying two beautiful ports of call, Nassau and Disney's private island, Castaway Cay before you know it. I'm sure you've been daydreaming of your toes in the sand and taking a dip in the clear, turquoise waters.

Your stateroom host/hostess will be happy to fill up your ice bucket for your stateroom throughout your sailing. If you want to take some ashore, you shouldn't have a problem at all. I suggest strong, plastic zippered bags as the ice isn't very thick. You may even want to double bag the ice so it won't leak all over your backpack cooler (no larger than 12" x 12" x 12") as it melts. It should do the trick since your cooler bag is insulated.
