Traveling on the Disney Dream in May. We are arriving a day ahead and staying at a hotel in Port Canaveral. Can you recommend transportation between the airport and PC hotel? I understand Disney only provides transport directly from the airport to cruise.

    Ahoy Anna Pizza!
Arriving a day early for your magical May sailing is a great idea!  I always like to have an extra day so the morning of our cruise departure is smooth sailing!
You are correct that Disney Cruise Line only offers ground transportation from the airport to the cruise terminal on the day of the cruise.  I have two suggestions on how to get to your Cape Canaveral hotel.  I have friends who have been very happy with Happy Limo (1-877-642-7791) which can transport you via luxury sedan or van. If your hotel has a shuttle to the cruise port, you can utilize this service on the morning of your cruise.  Happy Limo will also be able to pick you up at the end of your cruise.
The other option you might want to consider is a rental car.  There are several agencies (Avis, Budget, & Hertz) that have locations at both the Orlando airport and by the cruise terminal in Port Canaveral.  You can drop the car before you board the ship, and they will drive you over to the port in their courtesy shuttle.  After you disembark the ship, you can request another shuttle to back over to the rental office for your drive back to Orlando.
I hope one of these suggestions will work for our crew!  Please write back if you have any other questions because I'm always happy to help!
    Have a magical day!
