I am traveling on the Disney Dream June 2018 with my granddaughter, What paperwork do we need to travel with her. She has a passport. Do we need parental permission forms as well?

    Welcome aboard, Daniel!

Wow! Your granddaughter is such a lucky girl that she gets to leave Mom and Dad behind to head out to sea with her grandparents for a magical Disney Cruise Line vacation! My kids would be jealous! You are all in for such wonderful bonding time and so many opportunities to create magical memories that will last forever! How exciting!

In order for your granddaughter to travel without her parents, you'll need to be sure that the Minor Travel Authorization form is completed prior to your trip. It's a quick and easy form, so just get that completed by her parents, and bring it along with her passport and you'll be all set to enjoy the most amazing vacation ever!

You didn't mention how old your granddaughter is, but whatever her age, there are Youth Clubs just for her. So, when she's craving some kids' activities with others her own age, and you are craving some adult activities on your own, the two of you can head off to enjoy some time just for yourselves and then meet back up again later for the amazing family events and activities that Disney is known for! Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab are the spaces for ages three to 12, Edge is the hip hangout for the tween set, ages 11-14, and teens have their own space too at Vibe, for ages 14-17. My kids adore the Youth Clubs and all the amazing activities that take place all day and late into the night. Sometimes we have a hard time convincing them to leave the clubs, they enjoy them so much!

Also, as you continue to prep for this sailing, be sure you each download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to your mobile devices. Once onboard, you'll then be able to access the activities schedules, maps, menus, and even a free onboard texting feature so you can keep in touch with others in your group on the ship.

Have the most amazing adventures, Daniel, and if you have other questions before you head out to sea, please stop by again. We're happy to help!
