Hi! We're traveling on the Disney Dream on December 8, 2017. I am trying to book a youth club reservation for my 8 year old son but cannot see where to do it. Is this something that I can do ahead of time or only when we get to the boat?

Welcome aboard, Jorge! Wow! It's almost time for your family to set sail with Disney Cruise Line! I'm so excited for you to experience your first time onboard Disney's ships with all of the magic that is included!

No need to make reservations for your son for the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab (the two Youth Clubs for ages three through 12). Just register him online prior or when you arrive on the ship. The only Youth Club that requires advanced reservations is the It's A Small World Nursery. So, over at the Oceaneer Club and Lab, he'll be given an Oceaneer Band to wear which he'll use when you check him in and out. The Club and Lab do not require advanced reservations. Kids can simply arrive whenever they'd like and leave whenever their parents come to get them, or let the counselors know they're ready to go, and they'll contact the parents via the Wave Phones or text them through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. If you haven't already, be sure to download that app to your mobile devices before you arrive at port.

On the app, which is free to use while onboard, you'll be able to access the schedule of events for everything on the ship, including what activities are going on in the Youth Clubs. So, when your son sees one he must attend, just bring him by! You'll check him in and then come back to get him whenever you and he would like. There are some Open House hours too, so you could even stay and play with him during those hours! But, most of the time it is secured programming time so the counselors will lead the kids in all sorts of exciting events, activities, crafts, games and character events! Such fun!

    Have an amazing cruise, Jorge!
