We are traveling to Disney in Dec and wondered how the seating arrangement will work for a group of 9 at Teppan Edo. 4 adults, 5 kids ages 8,6,4, 3 and 3. Would that pose a problem here or anywhere else we do a table service? How about with rides (odd #)?

    Hi Jill,

Teppan Edo is one of our family's favorite restaurants. It is the only place I can guarantee that my girls eat everything! I think because it is cooked right then and there.

The tables are arranged for eight guests. For larger parties over eight, they are seated at two tables, side by side. In your case, they would place a group a five at one table and a group of four at another. You could decide where everyone sits, and it does not have to be by family.

For other dining reservations, they will adjoin tables to accomodate your group. Remember, you are a Grand Gathering because you are over eight people. When making your Advance Dining Reservations, make sure to use the Grand Gathering option so that Disney can keep your parties together.

On a side note, they may say to you that they have two separate tables, a four and a five, is this okay. I would reply yes, and they will do their best to put them close together. I personally have never not been next to my other party at dinner if they could not join tables.

    Have a great trip!
