I am traveling to Disney in August. Two of my children are vegan. I usually fill out the dietary form but is there any way to call the restaurants directly?

    Hi Diane!

Walt Disney World is known for accommodating special diets. I have several special dietary needs and Disney is always wonderful about ensuring the dishes are free of allergens and foods I can't eat.

It sounds like you are well versed in notating that you have a vegan in your part on your Advanced Dining Reservation online.

If you would like to speak with someone about a specific restaurant or the offerings that are vegan throughout the parks and resorts, you can email Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com.

There is also a great website that provides menus and details of the vegan food options throughout the parks and resorts. This is not an official Disney website, but conduct a search for "vegan Disney World" and check out the site.

Some of my own favorite vegan options are the vegan cupcakes at Erin McKenna's Bakery NYC, the Indian Bread Service at Sanaa and Tofutti ice cream at Beaches and Cream.

    Magically,
    Stacy
