Traveling to Disney Aug 2014 with a 4 & 7 yr old. When we visited last time I noticed there are all sorts of things people bring to be autographed: books, pillowcases, frames, etc! In your opinion what works best?

    Hi Sara,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Many Guests chose to bring items to the theme parks for characters to autograph. I grew up visiting Walt Disney World with my family and my siblings and I always had autograph books for our favorite characters to sign. In fact, I still have the autograph book my parents got me during a Disney family vacation. I enjoy looking through my book and seeing Mickey and Goofy's autographs, along with many others. Now that I am a parent, each of my three children has their own autograph book to start collecting special character autographs in.

If your children would prefer to have something they can display better than a book, I would go something like a picture frame. The pillowcases and t-shirts are also nice. We have friends who always bring a pillowcase so their children can have it on their bed after they return home. When their family goes back for another visit to Walt Disney World, they hang the old pillowcase with autographs on their bedroom wall, creating a collection of autograph art. Ask your children how they would like to keep their special autographs. It truly is a magical Disney memory for everyone.

Please let me know if you have follow-up questions as you continue planning for your Walt Disney World vacation.

    Have a magical day,

    Bob
