Will be traveling to Disney (again) in 2011, and want to be ready 180 days out for dining reservations. Can you make dining reservations online 24hrs/day (didn't have online reservations last trip) Which is faster? Online or by calling? Thanks!!!

    Hi Melissa!

I know just how you feel! I'm always up early at the 180-day mark!

Online reservations for your 180-day reservations begin at approximately 6 am EST. Telephone reservations begin at 7 am EST.

During my planning for my last few trips, I've really fallen in love with the online reservation system. Not only do you get a one hour "head start" over the phone reservations, but its quick and easy! For my last trip I was even able to get coveted reservations for Le Cellier and Cinderella's Castle before the phone lines were even open!

And, don't forget, you've got nothing to lose by trying out the online dining system - if you doesn't work out for you, just call 407-WDW-DINE at 7 am and a Disney Reservationist will be happy to help you out!

Hope this helps! Have a great vacation!

PS. Feel free to try out the dining system by looking up availability for other days -  just don't actually make any reservations! It never hurts to be familiar with how it works, so you can jump right on at 6 am and make your reservations!
