    Hi! We will be traveling in Dec and staying at Saratoga Springs with a full kitchen. I'm debating about getting a DDP. We are going to do a number of Character lunches though and that's where I think it might be beneficial. Recommendations?

    The freedom and flexibility to add the Disney Dining Plan to our Disney Vacation Club vacations is something that we really appreciate. I like to consider our priorities and plans for each vacation individually when making this choice. If we are planning a Character Dining Experience heavy trip with one per day, then we generally do use the Disney Dining Plan to handle our dining budgeting from home. Otherwise, we find it difficult to experience great savings.

    Keep in mind that Disney Vacation Club Members are also eligible to purchase a Tables in Wonderland Membership and save up to 20% at most Table Service locations at Walt Disney World Resort. This discount includes appetizers and adult beverages. Purchase your card at any Guest Relations location and enjoy the savings for a full 13-months! You might discover that this benefit could help you stretch your vacation dollars even further than the savings with the Disney Dining Plan.
