    I am traveling with my 2 daughters (age 5 & 8) in 2009. Which water park is best suited for girls at these ages.

    Laura, my eight year-old daughter and I went to both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon water parks this past September.  They were both super fun, but, of the two, my daughter preferred Blizzard Beach.  She still loved the Ski Patrol Training Camp, which is the kids area complete with slides and an ice walk obstacle course.

    I found Typhoon Lagoon had more slides that required bringing the tubes up to the top of the ride, which got a little tiresome as I somehow always ended up carrying both of ours!

    Bottom line is both parks are great, but next time we'll be heading to Blizzard Beach!
