Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kathleen!
How exciting that you will be sailing with Captain Mickey on the
Disney Wonder! This is such a beautiful ship and I cannot wait to be back onboard in January.
As you finalize your
packing and start filling up your suitcases,
travel documentation is one very important box to check off on your list! If traveling without a passport on a closed loop cruise, you must present multiple forms of identification. For those of us who have taken a new name when getting married, that can be a challenge when using a birth certificate as a form of identification.
At least one of the pieces of identification needs to match the name listed on your Disney Cruise Line reservation. If you have used your married name on the reservation, your drivers license and birth certificate should be sufficient to board the ship. To prevent any issues, if you have a copy of your marriage certificate you can bring it with as well to avoid any problems during your check in.
Once onboard, you can use your Key to the World Card for all identification purposes and keep all of your documents secure in your
stateroom safe.
When you are checked in and unpacked, get ready to kick start your vacation. Relax on the deck by the pool throughout the afternoon and then be sure to swing by
Tiana's Place for a musical dining experience in the evening!
Have fun making WONDERful memories! Angie
