We will be traveling w/ 2 boys ages 5 & 8, staying on the resort for 7 nights with a 7 day park hopper. Can anyone suggest how we should plan out our week?

Hi, Kenneth!  It sounds like you've got plenty of time to see most of what you and your boys would want to see!  I generally like to recommend that you plan for two days at the Magic Kingdom and at least a day and a half at EPCOT.  My girls really could use two full days, because they like to stop and do the Kidcot stations and the stuff at Innoventions, which can eat away at a big chunk of your day.  We can do Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios in a day.  That would leave you one extra day to revisit a park you've had the most fun visiting, or you could use the day to go to a water park during the day, then maybe dinner and fireworks at the Magic Kingdom.

As for which parks to visit on which days, I suggest visiting www.touringplans.com which can help lay out your days.  They make recommendations on which parks are best to visit on which days based on a variety of factors.

    Have an awesome vacation!
