Traveling to Aulani and I really want to see where Hawaii 5-0 is filmed. I didn't see any excursions from Aulani. Did I miss it or is there a recommended company to get a Hollywood type tour on Oahu.

    Hello, Dore!

Who doesn't love a little Hawaii 5-0? Hawaii was my bucket list vacation destination from way back in the Jack Lord days of the original Hawaii 5-0 show.

Aulani - a Disney Resort and Spa does offer excursions right there from the resort. There is also a list of things to do in O'ahu that, in many cases, the resort can help you with.

While there isn't a specific tour to visit the sites where the current Hawaii 5-0 is filmed, all of the locations where the filming is done are public, but many of the mountain and jungle scenes are done at the Kualoa Ranch. You can arrange a trip to the ranch from Aulani. The ranch, considered one of the most sacred places in O'ahu, has been the site of such popular programming as LOST, 50 First Dates, and the movie Jurassic Park. In addition, the ranch offers horseback riding tours, ATV tours, and other amenities to make it well worth the visit.

You can independently arrange a Hawaii 5-0 Jeep tour, although I haven't personally done this one, so I would recommend checking out online reviews. You'll find at least one or two other Hawaii 5-0 specific tours run by various vendors around O'ahu, but I would say none will be as beautiful as the trip to Kualoa Ranch. It's gorgeous there.

    Go book that tour, Dore-O!
