I will be traveling in August and was wondering if the rooms at the French Quarter have freezers in them. I would love to take frozen water bottles with me for day.

    Hi Stacy!

Every time of year at the Walt Disney World Resort is magical, but some months are definitely warmer than others!  To beat the heat, I always take a cold water bottle with me to the parks!  It is so nice to have a cool refreshing drink, especially later in the afternoon!

Unfortunately, the mini-refrigerators in the rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter do not have a freezer compartment.  That being said, I always put my water bottles in the mini-refrigerator the night before, then grab one right before I leave for the parks in the morning.  They usually stay cool for a while!

You can also invest in an insulated sleeve for your water bottle to keep it cooler for longer!  I actually purchased one of these at Disney's Animal Kingdom as I was leaving Kilimanjaro Safaris.  It has a cross-body strap and an absolutely adorable leopard-print Mickey Mouse on it!

Also remember that you can get refreshing ice water throughout the parks whenever you need it!  If you decide you want a cooling sweet treat, make sure you check out two of my favorites--LeFou's Brew from Gaston's Tavern in Magic Kingdom Park and the Night Blossom from Pongu Pongu in Disney's Animal Kingdom!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
