Hi, we’re traveling there in august and we’re not vaccinated do we need a negative COVID test prior to entering if so how many days before we go do we need to test?

    Hi Sara,

With a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth planned for next month, I hope you're already feeling excited about your trip and counting down the days until the magic and fun begin!

While the state of California is highly recommending that all Guests either be fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the Disneyland Resort, you are not currently required to show proof of vaccination or a negative test at the gate, so it will be up to you as to when you have your test done. Do note that while subject to change, the current face-covering policy requires that all unvaccinated Guests ages 2 and up wear face coverings when indoors. The one exception to this rule is when you are dining.

Speaking of dining, one of my favorite things about visiting the theme parks is all of the delicious food! Not only does everything taste better when it's Mickey-shaped, but there are so many incredible bites and beverages to try! I'd encourage you to check out these Foodie Guides to see what sounds scrumptious to you! Don't forget, too, that whenever your tumbly gets rumbly like Winnie the Pooh's, the Disneyland mobile app will come in handy dandy for you to place a mobile order!

Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Sara! I hope you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
