    We are traveling with 2 adults and 3 girls (ages 8, 7 & 5) I would love to have the girls be in a themed room but the Port Orlean's Royal room does not give me the option to book, is there a reason or a better option i can pick?

    I also have a family of 5 and we love to stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside.  I enjoy the laid back theme,and the water taxi service to the Downtown Disney area is terrific.  I hope you have a great time on your vacation.

    Royal Rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside are only equipped to house 4 Guests over the age of 3 years old.  This is probably why you are not seeing that option come up when you select Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside.  The rooms in the Alligator Bayou section of the Resort have an extra pull-down trundle size bed that would accommodate the fifth person. However, they don't have the princess theme.  If you have your heart set on a Royal Room you would need to reserve 2 rooms for your family of 5.   I find that when you are booking 2 rooms, it is easiest to call and speak to a Cast Member who can help get you taken care of.   If you really want to stay in one room together the Alligator Bayou rooms are great and would save a little bit of money.  And who doesn't love saving money?   Whatever option you choose I know you will have a magical visit.
