Ahoy, Hilda! Welcome, and thank you for cruising in! You're just days away, and that's so exciting!
Disney Cruise Line only has a stated policy for
minor children sailing with adults who are not their parents or legal guardians. There is a
form that needs to be completed in that instance. In your circumstances, there's not enough information for me to give you a thorough answer, but I'll give you a few options that may help you sort out the answer on your own.
If you and Dad are married, there's nothing that would prevent you from sailing on one of the
Disney Cruise Line ships with your children. Just make sure you have the
required travel documents for the kids, which would be either their passports or an official birth certificate - either the original or an official copy.
In the case of divorced parents, it may be as easy as you just coming to the port with your travel documents. You'll want to consult your parenting plan, though, before you leave to determine what you and Dad have negotiated with regard to travel. If you believe any issues would come up, you can bring a notarized statement from Dad indicating he is aware of your plans and consents to you taking the children on the cruise. You may not ever have to show it, but depending on which countries you visit, if your last name differs from the kids, it won't hurt to have the document in hand.
I hope you and the kids have the most amazing time on your upcoming voyage!
