What is travel time like from the Contemporary Resort to each Park?

    Hi Jordan,

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You're going to love staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort! Its location is super convenient, its sleek and modern design is beautiful, and its dining options are amazing!

Disney's Contemporary Resort is the only Resort from which you can actually walk to Magic Kingdom Park! It's about a ten minute walk, or if you'd prefer, you may board the iconic Monorail, conveniently located inside your Resort hotel! Since it makes a few other stops along the way, you'll find it takes about 15 - 20 minutes to get to Magic Kingdom Park via Monorail. To get to Epcot, you'll want to take the same Monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center, then switch Monorails to one that will take you directly to Epcot, taking you around 30 minutes total in travel time.

You'll want to take a bus to get to either Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom. You'll find that the ride to Disney's Hollywood Studios will take around 20 minutes, while the ride to Disney's Animal Kingdom will take around 25 minutes in normal traffic conditions. Since buses arrive approximately every 20 minutes, you'll want to factor in a little bit of time to wait for your bus.

Disney's complimentary resort transportation makes getting around really simple. All you'll need to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride! I hope you have a magical vacation, Jordan, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning for your trip!
