Hey there, Jenna! Thanks for bringing your question to us at planDisney.
I am a HUGE fan of the
Disney Skyliner -- so much so that on my last visit, I was decked out in a Skyliner tee with matching Skyliner
MagicBand! The Disney Skyliner makes it so quick and easy to travel to
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
EPCOT from Disney Resort Collection hotels along the
Skyliner route.
As much as I love traveling by Skyliner and the iconic
monorail, truthfully that is not going to be your best bet to reach
Magic Kingdom Park. The Disney Skyliner station at EPCOT is located at International Gateway in World Showcase (often thought of as the "back entrance" to EPCOT), while the monorail station is at the main EPCOT entrance in Future World. You would need to walk through EPCOT to get from one to the other (about a 15-minute walk), so this plan won't work outside of EPCOT's operating hours. Traveling by monorail between EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Park also requires a transfer at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC).
My recommendation would be to take
bus transportation from your resort hotel directly to Magic Kingdom Park -- it will be much faster and easier!
Jenna, I am wishing you a most magical vacation! Please stop by planDisney again with any additional questions you may have. We are always happy to help!
