How to travel from Polynesian resort to Hollywood studio

    Aloha, Nuntiya!

I'm absolutely thrilled to welcome you to the most magical panel on Earth — planDisney! It sounds like your countdown to your Walt Disney World vacation is getting shorter by the day, and I couldn't be more excited for you. A stay at Disney's Polynesian Resort is such a treat...you'll feel like you've stepped right into a tropical getaway the moment you arrive. With the monorail whisking you off to Magic Kingdom, sandy beaches perfect for catching the fireworks, and lush island vibes all around, it's truly a dream come true. And of course, you'll want to grab a DOLE Whip (or two!) from Pineapple Lanai...it's a must-do tradition at the Poly!

There are several convenient ways to get from the Polynesian to Hollywood Studios. The simplest option is to use the complimentary Disney bus transportation, which runs regularly. If you prefer more flexibility, you can use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft.

For a uniquely Disney experience, consider booking a Minnie Van through the Lyft app. These adorable vehicles are driven by Disney Cast Members and offer a direct, stress-free ride to Hollywood Studios. It's like having your own personal magic carpet!

planDisney tip: If you're planning to be at the park for rope drop or a special breakfast reservation, it's a good idea to leave a little early. That way, you'll have plenty of time to soak in the magic and beat the crowds!

One of the things I love most about Hollywood Studios is the incredible variety of live shows you can enjoy, like the Frozen Sing-Along and the thrilling Indiana Jones Stunt Show. And now they've added a couple of exciting new shows that I think you'll love: The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure and Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After. I hope you get the chance to experience them both...they're a perfect mix of fun, music, and Disney storytelling.

Nuntiya, I hope you have a great stay at the Polynesian and enjoy your day at Hollywood Studios! If you have any other questions as you wrap up your planning, feel free to pop back over to planDisney...we're always happy to help!
