Our travel party will be visiting Animal Kingdom in Feb 2020. We have purchased hard tickets for an event starting at 9 pm. We will visit AK during the day - it closes at 8 pm. Do we have to exit the park and re-enter with our hard tix?

    Greetings, Lynda!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I cannot wait for you to see the park glow and come to life during Disney After Hours at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park!  I love walking around Pandora - The World of Avatar after dark to see the magic of this world's bioluminescence lighting up the night.

If you have a valid ticket to Disney's Animal Kingdom during the park's regular hours, you do not need to leave the park and re-enter before your after hours event.  You are welcome to stay in the park until your event begins!  Simply take a moment before the event starts to visit the park entrance where Cast Members will be checking tickets and handing out wristbands.  The wristbands will show Cast Members throughout the park that you have a ticket and give you access to all of the ice cream and popcorn included with this event!

Be sure to use Disney's PhotoPass service and Memory Maker to capture all of the special photo opportunities available after hours.

Hop on your banshee and fly back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before your adventure!

    See ya real soon!  Angie
